Antiwar Rally,  May 6 , 2005
West Seattle Neighbors for Peace and Justice

The group engages passers-by in conversation. Ben and Jerry (progressive activists) would be proud.

Rumsfeld supports the false mission, NOT the troops.

Starting this week we rally at noon on Sunday, and have a table just outside the popular West Seattle Farmer's Market.

Ben is a a socially-conscious and community-minded West Seattle High School student. He's also demonstrating to save Alki Elementary School, the target of state education budget cuts.

"Don't look now girls, but there's a crazy lady on the corner. Let's duck into Funky Jane's."

Karen and JoAnn are thinking of the future draftee in the striped shirt.

This week, the table received more support and donations than ever.

A march around the block passes by the
Farmer's Market crowd.

Table has buttons and bumper stickers for sale, plus flyers publicizing
