DAY OF TRAGEDY
My second Dean photo tragedy occurred here. After 3 hours patiently standing
in the front row waiting for a photo-op, I finally saw Dean approaching
to shake hands with the crowd.
At that moment my husband said: "You're gonna kill me." Why? He'd taken about 100 photos while waiting bored, and the battery had gone dead. And we hadn't brought a back-up.
Panic-stricken, I begged a bystander to snap a pictue, which he did. The result is at right: "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille".
Well. maybe not THAT close. Damn.
