As the early birds arrived to set up at 11AM, they were rewarded by a visit from Rep. Jim McDermott. He hung with Kossaks for about 40 minutes. Latecomers were chagrined.

McDermott returned at 4:00 (AFTER latecomers had left !) and was nice enough to give a thrill to the little girls' volleyball team nearby.
